- COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLE REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY. CLEAN METAL OUT OF HOUSING. INSTALLED NEW CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS. (RING AND PINION, POSI UNIT AND AXLES) PROPERLY SET UP RING AND PINION SHIM AS NEEDED SET PROPER PINION DEPTH AND BACKLASH. CHECKED GEAR PATTERN. PATTERN LOOKS GOOD AFTER MUTIPLE ADJUSTMENTS. SWAPPED OVER AXLE STUDS FROM THE OLD AXLES AND INSTALLED WITH LOCK TIGHT INTO NEW AXLES. REASSEMBLED. SILICONE ON COVER, AND FILL WITH 2.5 QUARTS OF NEW GEAR LUBE. TEST DROVE VEHICLE 3 TIMES AFTER REPAIRS. NOTE THERE IS NO LABOR WARRANTY ON ANY REPAIRS PERFORMED. TIRES ARE WAY TOO BIG AND ENGINE MAKES TOO MUCH POWER, ABUSE WILL CAUSE PREMATURE FAILURE OF THESE PARTS. THESE PARTS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR VEHICLE SET UP. NOTES!!!!! TRANSMISSION WAS 4 QUARTS LOW ON FLUID, TOPPED OFF DRIVER SIDE ENGINE MOUNT IS BROKEN. ADVISE TO INSTALL LIMITER STRAP TO PROLONG LIFE OF NEW MOUNT WHEN INSTALLED. FRONT SWAY BAR BUSHINGS ARE WORN OUT SERVICE STABALITRAC AND ABS LIGHTS ARE ON WE CHARGED BATTERY.
- ENGINE MOUNT BROKEN AS A RESULT OF HIGH HORSEPOWER ENGINE. ADVISE TO REPLACED ENGINE MOUNT WITH NEW OEM AS IT IS THE BEST OPTION. NEW MOUNT NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED WITH A LIMITER STRAP WHICH WILL PROTECT MOUNT. NO DIRECT BOLT ON OPTION AVAILABLE. ESTIMATE TO REPLACE ENGINE MOUNT AND INSTALL CUSTOM LIMITER STRAP $965.00–CUSTOMER WILL BRING BACK TO HAVE DONE AT A LATER DATE.
